We came here one afternoon in November 2010. It was dead, we were the only ones there. It was tranquil and slow paced. We enjoyed a few flights of tastings and some bar type snacks. Then we helped ourselves to a tour of the cellar. SO many tempting wines. Great place to stop by in Siena.

10 Euro gets you a glass of wine or cocktail, and unlimited helpings of the delicious apertivo buffet with local specialties. A slightly snobby, older crowd, but still fun for a night out in Siena, and a good place to learn about wine. The cellar is heaven.

The Enoteca Italiana carries the best wines from all 20 regions in Italy. All wines they carry must be approved by a board, so they carry only the best. Warm atmosphere--if you are in Tuscany, go to Siena and enjoy a late afternoon on their patio with a bottle of fantastic wine!
