Saw the little chapel where St. Frances prayed and died. White doves sit on his statue and you can see the roses without thorns where he flung himself on the bushes. Up on the mountain in Assisi you can visit his grave in the basilica. Very happy experience for me as a lover of animals and St. Frances. His prayer... more
