For Saint Francis's fans, this was the place where the saint slept. Of the old house which hosted Francis, only a wall now can be seen (near the sacresty). The church is not particoularly actractive. On right apse there are some frescos by Maestro di San Francesco di Gubbio depicting two St. Francis' stories.

Driving from Urbino to Assisi, we stopped in Gubbio, Italy to take a ride on the funicular up the side of the hill to Abbey of Sant' Ubaldo. It a wonderful activity.
