This museum is a great visit to see paintings from some Swiss painters (Valotton, Holder). There are also some other well known paintings from masters such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt. Some large murals taking the whole of a wall are really impressive. There is also a good section on archeology and also on modern art. I go 2-3 times a... More

Really enjoyed our visit here - lots to see and some lovely paintings and sculptures. The staff were friendly. The Museum is free to get in which we did not expect, and were very pleased about! Be aware all the information about the exhibits is in French so if you dont speak it, consider taking a dictionary. You can park... More

This museum has a great collection, but the presentation needs updating. If you can, take a docent tour which enlives the experience.
