I was absolutely blown away by this museum. It captures the essensce and history of the Red Cross and Red Crescent from its humble beginnings to the current day. Visited this museum in August 2006. It is different and modern. There are various features but difficult to do them in order as they are on the same floor space. The years on the wall with each conflict and distaster that the Red Cross were involved in was interesting. Worth a visit but will only take half day. more

It's worth a trip to the musum, if only to walk past the majestic (if heavily fortified) entrance of the U.N. on the Plaza des Nations and past the gorgeous Musee Arianna on the Avenue de la Paix.
