The church itself is interesting to see inside, but if you are half fit and can cope with a tightly enclosed circular stone stairway, you must climb the towers. Do the first tower you come to first, then through to the bell and down ffrom the second tower. The stop/go lights are not infallible so don't panic if you meet... More

In my opinion, the main attraction here is not the cathedral, which is rather sparse and austere as you might expect from a Reformation church (except for the richly decorated Chapelle des Maccabees). Instead, it's the archaeological site under the church; the entrance is located to the right if you are facing the cathedral. The site shows unearthed ruins dating... More

I went to this church during the summer, there is an archaeological site there too but you have to pay extra to view that. Inside it is beautiful and you have the option to climb the tower - that is also an additional charge. More

It is very nice church in the center or the "Old Town". It may be hard to located, but it is worth your time to visit. In the church there is said to be a chair used by John Calvin, the man who lead the Reformation in Geneva churchs. You can also walk up to the towers and look over... More

The particularity of Geneva Cathedral is it is ... protestant! This is actually quite unique! The change was operated during the Reform in the 16th century and led to a quite sober style that could disappoint those expecting a lot of colours like what can be found in a cathedral in Spain or in Italy. A gripe - to visit the roman excavations below you can only pay in Swiss francs - no Euros and no credit cards. More

Not the best of Cathedrale in Europe but if you have the time, you can hike up to take a look at it. Situated on top of the small hill, I'll consider this Cathedrale hugh, comparable to the pantheon of Rome, whilst exterior carries a wow factor, the interior is disappointing. More

The church is impressive but the real interesting material lies beneath at the archaeological site, which you do have to pay to see, but the history of the site being religious ground dating back to 180 B.C. is really amazing. More
