The trip to and from Mount Pilatus was very fun on it's own for the experience riding a cog train and gondolas. Make sure you go on a clear day though, because if it is cloudy you can't see anything from the viewing station on top! More

Great view at the top however it is all depdended on the weather. A bit disappointed as the golden round trip was not opened due to frozen railway-track! More

Took the No1 Bus and then cable cars from Lucerne. Get the combined ticket to save money. Great views from the top. It was 20 degrees at the base and thick snow at the top. Unfortunately the cog railway was still closed due to snow otherwise the round trip via cog railway and lake boat would have made it even... More
