The cable car up the the Klein Matterhorn is a very enjoyable journey and is you have a clear day, like we did, you can see forever. I went up the Klein Matterhorn which gave fantastic views. A great restaurant and excellent views of skiers. The USA ski team were practising .But Once I got past 3000m I found I had trouble walking normally. Apparently some people can get altitude sickness. I found that I just had to move very slowly and not move around too much.... More

We visited this peak with our parents and like it very much. in all we went to three peaks - Matterhorn, titlis and jungfrau. Of the three would recommend that you def visit Matterhorn and titlis. We found Zermatt to be less crowded and the peak very clean but unfortunately there were no snowtubing, etc at that time. Food options... More
