For Spring skiing, the conditions were very good! The top of the glacier is reached via 2 cable car lifts. They run every 20 minutes so connections are easily made. At the top are all groomed easy runs serviced by surface lifts (there is one chair that is on a very short run only at the top - I think... More

Amazing views, silence, wilderness. We went a day after Christmas which is perhaps why it was so quiet but enjoyed it thoroughly...miles of pristine, unspoiled, glittering snow - it was like a cold, snow desert. Amazing scenary. More

My wife and I stumbled across this as we were driving through the Swiss countryside. We enjoyed it. Great views of the mountains (9k feet up!) and fresh air. You can ride on the glacier roller coaster, ok. You can take a dog sled ride, closed when we went up. You can walk the glacier, a lot of fun. Remember... More

If you have a few $100 to throw away this may be for you. After getting numbed by the first sticker shock the pathetic "roller coaster" may seem like a bargain . You wouldn't know you are on a glacier from the thinning sheet of snow that barely covers the rocks. .The sights are good but not above average, for... More

Well I went couple of weeks back. You can have one day visit there from interlekan. Just get the train going to Gstaad. Right on train station of Gstaad you get a bus which directly drops you at glacier3000 area. From there just buy the tickets and go up to the glacier where you ll get alpine coaster :) More

Was up on Glacier 3000 on 21 March 2011. The weather was incredible the whole week so my experience here was even more amazing. The scenery is breathtaking and the blues and whites of snow and sky brilliant. It's probably expensive for lots of travellers but it's definitely worth it. I had a Halbtax card (discount on trains and cable... More
