If you want a differnt type of New Year's celebration! Then Interlaken is the place to be!
The place is great place to start your Snowbording or Ski plans... I highly recommend to buy your lift ticket at the Banhof (train station) before you take the train for the lift.. it will save you a lot of time since in...

If you will be in or anywhere near Interlaken, Grindenwald, Zurich or Berne go out of your way to DEFINITELY take the train ride to the Top of Europe! Google Jungfraujoch and Top of Europe train.

The weather was sunny and slightly chilly so there were not much snow on top the alps.We had been to other alps filled with snow so when we got up Schilthorn, it was just ok for us.
Even the ice cream we had at the Revolving Restaurant was just alright, nothing special.

We went on a boat cruise which shows you a big beautiful area in very little time. Walk around Interlaken if you want to do some shopping or just experience some of the Switserland culture.
