Nice place to be in the middle of the Sauvabelin forest, in the outside area of Lausanne, from the top you will have a nice view of the surroundings. More

The tower is located in the Bois de Sauvabelin, an extensively wooded region in the outskirts of the town with an altitude of approx. 660 m. You can reach there by taking the bus no: 16 or by walking from town. It is a wooden structure and is open during daytime (and closed during adverse weather). The spiral staircase takes... More

It's located in Sauvabellin area which is perfect to spend the weekend. The tower itself is special, the view from the top is amazing especially in Autumn. Close to the tower, there's a man-made lake where you can hire a canoe, feed the duck, walking around the little zoo, or just enjoy a cup of coffee at the cafe. Try... More

Reachable from town in a walk through the woods. Nothing exceptional, just a quiet stroll to the tower itself that can be climbed and the nearby pond. More

It’s hard to get to this location if you’re new to Lausanne. There are around 3 bus stops to get to this place, after getting off the bus you’ll have to follow the maps, getting through some pathways on the local map to find it. Noted that the tower is not high to see from a far distance plus trees... More

Went there on a warm summer day, with no clouds. Clear views over all of Lausanne, giving a great perspective, across Lake "Leman" (Geneva) to the alps beyond. No fault of the location, but if HAZE is present (frequently), you wont get crystal clear views or photographs. But still well worth the trek. Adjacent " lake", was a little disappointing... More
