Interactive museum that traces the modern Olympic Games with photos, videos, conferences etc ... During the Olympic games, the museum offers broadcasts of major events. Currently the museum is closed until late 2013 but a mini-exhibition is free on boat moored on Lake Geneva, opposite the museum

The museum located in Lausanne is one of a kind, it revives you some of the greatest moments in olympics history. It contains lots of items that were used during the games, and lots of facts and screens to view and relive those sporting historic events.

The museum is closed (I'm writing this in April 2012) but the park is nice and there is a specular view from top of the hill. The only place that actually tells you that this the famous spot is a small 'barrack' at the bottom of the stairs where some free city tour guides are available and a nice lady...

Must go if you Live in the Olympic town Lausanne. It is located at the lake side and in a very beautiful location of Lausanne. The Museum is very educational with plenty of sporting history.

The attractions aren't any spectacular but the history and the area surrounding the museum is great' take a short walk after down to lame Lausanne and catch a ferry to evian where they bottle the water, it's peaceful and beautiful!

A very interesting museum, with all the Olympic history you can imagine. A must for anyone with an interest in the subject. Also, the grounds/gardens, are so gorgeous it is worth a visit just for them alone.

The museum is undergoing renovation at present so I cannot address the new exhibits that will be displayed there.
The collection has Shannon Miller's leotard (signed), the Austrian four man bob sled from 1964, torches from all the modern games, and numerous other artifacts spanning over 100 years.
The spot is gorgeous. It is on a hill facing Lake Geneva....

The olympic garden outside the museum is a lovely little park filled with artwork and olympic statues. a very nice place to visit.
