We took the train from Montreux to Interlacken and it did have beautiful views and was an enjoyable way to get to Lauterbrunnen (where we were staying). Went to Gruyere to see cheesemaking but discovered more than that. Found the HR Giger museum and bar - worth the trip just for those! Not sure what is going on inside Giger's head but his artwork is amazing. More

Golden Pass line has variety of trains like classic, Panoramic, Normal (with a big windows). From Interlaken only one train is Panoramic which is 9.11 am, rest all are normal with big windows.
