There really is nothing very inspiring about this area. It contains numerous restaurants and some hotels and is packed with people (many students) in the evening. Some of the restaurants have outside dining with tables in the street, which is quite pleasant. Only service vehicles are allowed in the main street which is mainly cobbled. So ladies, no high heels. More

Strolling around this area is fantastic. Interesting shops and excellent coffee shops. When I visit Zurich, I always spend a couple of hours reading and drinking coffee next to the river. A great way to recharge the batteries. More
