It seem to have lost a bit of its old elegance when a big Apple Store open there. There are still many high end boutiques, departmental stores and high street stores. Easy to walk and lotsa of cafe for people and tram watching. More

Deux pats from the Zurich gare begins this shopping street with all of the upmarket shops and boutiques imaginable but without the crowds and litter and noise that normally comes with such endroits. More

Some of the shops are really impressive. I did not like the way the windows of some of the shops selling watches are shuttered and impossible to enjoy during the evenings. More

If you're a millionaire, even then prices will seem expensive. We passed a watch shop where the cheapest watch (out of about 50 on display) was £2,200. Many were nearer to £20,000. Nice to browse and window shop, but there are many less expensive shops 10 minutes walk away. Bahnhofstrasse runs from the main station to the lake. More

Its great to walk up the street, but look don't touch. There is a good toy stall that I always get presents from for the kids. As for food, go one street back to the department stores and take the lift to the top floor. Generally you will find a self serve restaurants that are good valve for money. More
