This collection has something for everyone. The impressionists, a Warhol, and loads of good Swiss artists. Such a wonderful museum building as well. Escher like with all its wonderful rooms and stairs. More

I took my time and only visited the top floor with the impressionist paintings. The collection is excellent and very well displayed. I took the audio tour which was a fantastic addition to my tour especially as there were so many paintings with commentary. From the outside the museum looks smallish, but don’t let that fool you. This is one of the nicest, most interesting art museums. Start at the top so you have lots of time for the modern and impressionist works. First floor is devoted to Swiss artist Hodler. More
