Not sure about the accoustics if you compare them to the KKL in Lucerne but always a treat to listen to the Tonhalle Orchestra who produce some excellent sounds. Every time a treat!

The Townhalle is the residence of the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, the best philharmonic formation of the country. Its concert hall is opulent and beautiful with reasonable acoustics. The stage is somewhat tight for a large orchestra but it doesn't bother the audience. The upper lobby reminds of a soviet-style hall and I wonder where this architectural dissonance comes from. A very nice venue, very close to the river. Good acoustics, top floor balcony has wonderful views of the mountains and the river.
