We took our 3 yeard old and 21 month old children here in October 2009. This park is huge and we thought that we could do all we wanted in one day but couldn't. It wasn't that busy but there is so much to do. Obviously the big rides were of no interest to us as we have little children.... more

An amazing Park altough its more like small children Theme/Fantasy Park...there lots of things to do for adults alike!& there are even abt 4/5 trill adult rides also Such a balance between Indoor & Outdoor Activities so on a Rainy day Its still do-able. Efteling is the perfect outing for a family with small children or anyone wanting to have a good time. Download tickets, cheaper (26 € entry/adult) via the internet. Car Parking 8 €, buy ticket from machine on way out of the park. Although it may seem costly it is certainly a magical kingdom. Queuing is not too bad (better than Alton Towers and Eurodisney) and is much easy 17.00 onwards (leave the long queues to later in the day).... more

Now don't get me wrong, I love Disney and even Disneyland resort Paris as a great theme park and attraction, however I had never been to Efteling and I was blown away by just how good it was. What a great themepark this is, it has an atmosphere you can't compare to/with anything else. (And i've seen a few (16) theme parcs) Do you know the drawings of Anton Pieck ? Being Dutch I may be a bit biassed, but compared with lots of other theme parks this is one of the best. It does have breathtaking rides, but the real charm are the fairy-tale rides. Mesmerizing!.
