The museum is super small and located in the artists apartment. There are definitely some cool things in here. I especially liked the mineral rocks that glow in the dark. But don't go expecting to be blown away. Recommended: stop at a coffee shop before. More

You'll be so surprised by this great place, it really is worth an hour of your time in Amsterdam. Don't be put off by how small it is, you'll be amazed at how interesting all the little trinkets and objects are in there, and as mentioned by others, nick the proprietor is the loveliest guy and his extensive knowledge and... When you arrive outside and ring the bell, it feels like a different sort of experience and if you read previous reviews, they are accurate for us. The man is fascinating and we didn't feel at any point that we couldn't get away if we needed to which is what we worried slightly about being with 2 teenage boys. The... More

As other reviews say this is a very small museum in the basement of the artists/curators art studio. It only costs 5 Euro to get in. You have to take your shoes off and put disposable slippers on to go down to the museum. The artist is basically an old hippy and is very passionate about his art. We were... More

This place was awesome and it was the highlight to our short visit last march. We stumbled into it whilst going around Jordaan but had also read very positive reviews on here. The place is really small just a small room down some very steep steps of a workshop. However the guy is really nice, welcoming and very knowledgable. He... More

A very good museum, though small it provides an interesting experience among the fluorescent art. The man who runs it will explain in detail about every single stone or painting or other article. It is an amazing gem in the streets of Jordaan. Oh, and also, a very small fee. More

Came here after reading some good reviews and thinking that it looked an interesting place to go to. The guy gave us a talk about what it was about, and he clearly interested in the fluorescent art and knew his stuff. He then gave us a tour of his exhibits and rocks, and left us to explore his cave thing... More

If you're into black lights and flourescent effects this is he place for you. Nick has an amazing collection of flourescent materials, I found his rock and minerals truly awesome and his knowledge of the science behind flourescence. The art exhibits are remarkably intricate and involved and the experience is much more personal than a typical museum visit. More

Is not what you think it is, it's hundred times more awesome! At first it doesn't look interesting at all, but let the man work his magic! It's great to see people with so much passion for what they are doing! It's great to see that world around actually looks so colorful!! More

This was a kind of surreal experience that became a running joke on our trip to Amsterdam. We knew the place was small, and it is. The owner gives a very passionate description of the subject and of each item - more than most people probably want to know. The exhibits in the "museum" room are interesting, and make for... More
