Good tour, probably very dependent on the quality of the tour guide and ours was obviously new. Recommend doing this tour first thing to get an idea of what you want to spend more time at. The same company has free tours in other cities as well, went in Prague and it was much better there! More

Although we weren't completely happy with our tour, I still recommend going. I think my criticism is mainly based on our guide, who was soft spoken and didn't seem entirely comfortable with the information. She was very nice and knew a fair amount, presenting the info just didn't come naturally to her. That being said, the tour is a great... More

We had the pleasure to participate in the walking tour of Amsterdam last thursday, May 24th. Your guide Tom was able to share with us his vast knowledge of Amsterdam's history with passion and, at times tinted with a very good sense of humour. This lively 3 hours tour went by too fast and we were left on our appetite... More

I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Tom was our guide and he was brilliant - very knowledgeable and funny. Too many tours can be a bit slow/overly commoditized-sounding/patronizing, but this was none of those. The pace was good, the sights were excellent, and the guide was great. More

We took the Sandeman's free walking tour just a couple hours after arriving in Amsterdam. Geert was fun and informative! What a great way to get oriented to the city! Our group of 6 joined about 12 more people at Dam Square. This is indeed the best deal in Amsterdam! More

Amazing, easy and fun. Tour guides are young but they are experts of the city, very professional and very interesting. More

We took this 3 hour tour which was guided by Dave. There were about 12 of us in the group, varied in ages and countries of origin, but all speaking English. The tours meet up either in front of the tourist office at the train station, or at Dam Square and then are sorted into guides and languages. I'm glad... More

I did two of the tours, free tour with Angel and RLD with Mark. Both guides were quite different in style and excellent. Angel introduced himself briefly and then got the group to say where they all came from which made you realise what a diversity of people were there. He gave clear information on how the tour would be... More

My guide, GED showed my the nooks and crannies of the city! He's funny, interesting and knowledgable! Amsterdam as so much more to offer the traveler then just the coffee shops and the red light district. Don't miss him when you're in town! More
