Diamonds, everywhere! Well, what would you expect? The museum is great - lots of jewels, all different shapes, sizes, colours. There's a historical point of view in there too - how they are made, how they are graded, why Amsterdam is so famous for them; plus information on the most famous ones found and made. The shop is huge too... More

What I find poorly curated and exhibited. The "pathway" was made in a way that made it crowed even though there barley were a dousin visitors. The displays were a bit short in information. The extent of replicas should have been stated in the flyers≺ one of our travelcompanions wanted to go here, but was sorely disappointed when she realized... More

Enjoyed the history of how diamonds are formed and polished etc, and the displays were interesting, however there was not a great amount of display and it did not take us too long to go through the museum. There were also items for sale at prices which we felt would be lower elsewhere. Interesting museum, but not a must do... More

The museum is not very big and not very interesting. You'll see gorgeous diamonds and that's all. Not much to do. It's the halfway between Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Free entrance for Amsterdam Card. More

This is quite an interesting place - if you have the urge to find out a lot of technical detailed info about diamonds and the production process, but not so much if you just want to admire them. Well, unless you just visit the store part and check the display there!;-) More

They show the history around diamonds: Where you can find them, what it needs to get a diamond, different types of diamonds, how you prepare a raw diamond to get a brilliant. They show rebuilt crown jewels of different nations around the world. With the ticket you can also get access to the diamont factory next door. There you will... More

A lovely, interesting and beautiful place to visit! Loved to see the process in the making and all the crown jewels etc. It was amazing to think that they start off so big and end up 1/3 the size, but so beautiful. It was a shame we couldn't see a cutter in action. I was quite surprised that they sold... More
