After 3 days in the city, I finished with a one hour cruise and loved it! You really do get a different view of the city. TIP: If you pick up a small card in your hotel and hand it into the ticket desk, you get a up to 3.50 off your ticket.

We purchased this tour using one of our vouchers from the Holland Pass (would recommend the pass). Great tour to do on your first day in Amsterdam...great introduction to the area. Average tour...everything prerecorded in multiple languages. Sitting arrangements first come first serve. No aircondition but windows open.

The cruise itself was lovely, meandering through the canals. We were disappointed however that there was no organisation and it wasn't apparent as to which boat we were supposed to be on. Hence, despite being there 30 minutes early, we had to queue to find out which boat to queue by. Eventually we got on board and missed the champagne!...

I enjoyed the canal cruise at night time. It was an hour long for 12 euros. It was nothing fancy, but it was good. You do have to have a good camera to take night photos and make sure you sit on the left side of the boat to see the more popular sites.

We had a great time on the Candlelight Canal cruise. Unlimited wine while the boat drove around all of the canals of Amsterdam. the tour guide was great (in English although she spoke 6 languages). We saw all parts of Amsterdam and we even saw the Queen of The Netherlands as she got off her special boat coming home from...

After a busy day walking around and visiting sights of interest, I took the canal trip just to be able to sit there and look at buildings along the canals. The one hour cruise was just the right length of time and it was pleasant enough. The commentary was in Dutch, English, French and Russian and obviously on a tape...

I first went on a canal cruise in Amsterdam with my parents as a youngster nearly 40 years ago, and this took me right back to that special holiday.
We took the one hour tour which departs frequently from outside the central station.
Seeing Amsterdam in this way, from the water, gives you a completely different angle on the city...

We recently did the night canal cruise with these guys and it was very relaxing - especially if you have been walking around a lot within the city or back from a hectic day tour! Its reasonable price wise and the commentary ( in many languages ) was good; you get to see a lot of Amsterdam by night...loved sailing...

A great way to see Amsterdam without all the walking, Perfect for a relaxing sunny day.
