We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Peter on 13th Feb '12. He is a very friendly, knowledgeable guide who made us feel at ease immediately. He has a wealth of information about WW11 and the impact the war had on Amsterdam and the Jewish people living there. He is obviously very keen to show visitors his city and his use... More

Peter is a very well informed, intelligent, nice guy, who clearly loves Amsterdam and its history. During the tour we learnt of the horrors that the Jews went through during the clearances. He took us to spots that are probably forgotten about in this vibrant city. A well run tour full of facts put over in a very professional way.... More

Very much enjoyed this 2 hour walking tour with Peter, a very knowledgable and likeable person who has an obvious passion for his subject. If you really want to picture what it was like when the Germans invaded Amsterdam, and understand how it was for the locals then this is the tour for you. More

I took this tour in Jan. 2012 while in Amsterdam on business. Another co-worker of mine recommended this tour and I was very glad I took his advice. As this was my first time in Amsterdam, I found the tour to be a wonderful way to see some interesting parts of the city and learn my way around for more... More

I went on this walking tour over a year ago but never got round to posting a review until now. I have kept reminding myself to do it because it was brilliant and it certainly deserves the credit that I am giving it. Myself and my two friends were an unusual crowd in that we were in our early twenties... More

I know this is late as we went to Amsterdam in March 2011 but I wanted to make sure my views were registered. This walk and talk was really interesting and, in our view, Peter was very knowledgable. We were in a small group of just two couples so were able to ask questions and generally go at a mutually... More

Despite the rain and cold peter kept my family ( including 2 teenagers) totally engaged throughout the tour. He provided us with an honest report of what it must have been like in Amsterdam for both the Jewish and non Jewish population. He also gave us fascinating insights to current day life here. He was willing to oblige us with... More

We booked this tour along with tickets to see Anne Frank's house and thought it would be fitting to do them on the same day. We were really pleased we did it this way as they complimented each other very well. We visited Anne Frank's house on the morning, had time to have a bite to eat (we had soup... More

Peter does an excellent job of bringing to life the Jewish history during the war and German occupation. A memorable experience & very personal (there were only two couples on our tour). An exceptional experience during your visit to Amsterdam. He also provides you with handouts, and e-mails pictures of the sights included during the tour. More
