Good selection of items to purchase. Some vendors too pushy for our British sensibilities but over all a great shopping experience not to be missed. More

If you're in the area for the Heinekin Experience, GO to the market! Especially if you're not European, and have never been to such a market. We started our day with smoothies there, and just browsing all of the really interesting things to buy. Everything from lingerie, cheese, bikes, fresh foods, covers for your iphone, typical tshirts and souveniers, to... More

After you have spent your (suggestion!!) at the Heineken brewery, you can easily walk to the Albert Cuyp market. Just make sure you have gone to the bathroom first !! This market has just about everything and it's just fun to browse and experience it. Have you ever tried "patates frites" with mayonnaise or pickalily ?? Delicious. And of course... More

This is a great outdoor market to visit on a nice day. You can stroll the market and nibble as you go. There is a mix of produce/fish/meat, clothing, touristy items, costume jewelry, etc. as well as permanent shops on either side of the street behind the stalls. There is a good satay vendor and a fresh stroopwaffel maker (hot,... More

Albert Cuyp Market is a street market regarded as the largest street market in Europe. It’s named after Albert Cuyp, a 17th Century artist. It’s located on the Oud-Zuid area of the city and there is a tram stop outside the market. The product selection varies from fish, meat, fruit and vegetable. Cheeses, cooked food, clothes, tacky souvenirs etc. The... More

Made a quick stop into the market to check out what they had to offer. In addition to fabrics by the roll, clothing, shoes, hats, gloves, scarves, there were also a few food stands including cheese, fish and candy/nuts. A couple stalls had faux pashminas/shawls in great colors and patterns…..€3 each or 5 for €10. These aren't the best quality... More
