Give us a break, three years after my first visit and they haven't opened any additional areas of this 'Readers Digest' version of what I imagine is an incredible museum. The lighting of the Vermeer paintings along with the setting is poor, not suitable for masterpieces of this scale. I will not return until they open this museum up officially.... More

I have visited many times in the past but it was the first time for my partner. The museum is being refurbished but at the moment all of the major or most important exhibits are contained in one smallish area and it was a perfect introduction to the museum. Well worth the visit and the entrance fee. More

Even though part of the museum was closed due to renovation, our visit was definitely worth the time and money. The Vermeer works weren't on display, but the beloved Night Watch was, among many others. One of my favorite museums! More

We visited the museum in May 2012. The galleries are under renovation. Interestingly, they have kept one wing open (The Philips Wing) and have housed most of the masterpieces that they are famous for. You get to see a sizeable collection of sumptuous Rembrandts including the "Night Watch". But for us it was the Vermeers which made the day. Two... More
