From Bars, to restaurants and nice Dj's. In this square you have all you need. It is alive and fun. Always a lot of action and yes, sometimes crowded but if you feel like a relax place you can also find it. Just walk around. More

Probably the main entertainment area of Amsterdam. Different restaurants, bars, clubs, cafes, and coffeeshops abound. Not as rowdy and loud as the Red Light District with its bachelor and bachelorette parties. Rembrantplein is similar to Leidseplein but no quite as big. More

I stayed @ a hotel near by to this wonderfully lively area, and I was thrilled by it! Extremely lively, lots of shops, restaurants, bus/trolley stops, including the airport bus, tourist office, movie theatre and currency exchange/ATM.
