quiet- not much atmosphere. Went there just for a drink. Would not be rushing back.

Really nice location with outdoor seating right down on the canal. Lots of options for drinks. We didn't eat, but those who did had lots of attention from the ducks that came right up out of the canal to see if anyone was in the mood to share.

Jenever is sold here, and you must try! (juniper-flavored and strongly alcoholic traditional liquor of the Netherlands). Cute little bar with a nice upstairs mezzanine level if the bar is packed. Must stop by if in the area.

I don't know why this place features in nightlife as its brilliant in the day too!
Visited following Anne Frank for soup and apple pie. Better than Winkels and the setting, staff and ambience are far superior! Wish we'd come back on our last day or even visited at night!
Make sure you put this place high up your wish...

We went to this cafe based on Trip Advisor reviews. We had a fabulous suprise of a special evening of Spanish dishes paired with Sherry wines from the region This was combined with live music and entertainement. It was a wonderful relaxing evening with locals. The owner was welcoming and very friendly. We will return again.
