We booked in advance on line. We learned that the Netherlands produce more than Edam: indeed cheese is a very major part of their culture. The one-hour session started with a chat and video before getting down to the main event which is rather like wine tasting. You have the opportunity to include wine as well: we opted for the...

We were lucky to just turn up and be accepted at a class that was just starting, but it would be a good idea to book since all other sessions of the day were fully booked. You get to taste a number of cheeses (you're not limited by amount) and rate them, whilst also noting the different tastes with white...

What an amazing time. Learning about the cheeses was one of the highlights of my trip - and it's do useful in holland!! I found some really interesting cheeses I liked too. And for only 10 euro for lots of cheese and a glass of port wine, you can't find a better deal anywhere else in Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

On our walking tour with Omy Amsterdam Tours we got to taste some cheese. Our guide knew the manager so we got a little tasting session on our own. Next time in Amsterdam I want to do the full workshop. We bought the mature goats cheese, mmmm.

A great stop for everyone - especially tourists. The tasting classes can be done in English and Dutch (and maybe other languages - not sure) but in any language, it's a great introduction to the different types of cheese offered in the shop.

Nice lady explained us about the unique process of making cheeses of this brand. There is video as well for better imagination. We purchased the basing tasting which was 10euro per...

We had a ticket from our Holland Pass that we didn't know what to do with. We saw that the Cheese Tasting was in the area so we decided to give it a try. Luckily, they had openings to get us right in to the next tasting. What a treat! We brought cheese home with us, and we are still...

The cheese they sell here is very special and they explain why in a one hour cheese tasting they hold downstairs from the shop. Afterwards you get a 15 percent discount on buying cheese, which is wrapped in such a way that you can bring it home on the plane.
The tasting cost 15 euro per person which includes a...
