We did an evening cruise with a 3 course supper. What a great way to spend an evening - watching the sunset, eating fantastic food and seeing the city as it should be seen.

Very Near the main entrance of Amsterdam Central Station one can choose from the many canal cruise operators .The cost varies between 8 Euro and 14 Euro from operator to operator. One can also take a cruise at night which is more expensive and they serve cheese and wine.
I took the one which charged 8 Euro and had brown coloured...

One day we were caught in a rain drizzle and climbed into the warm canal cruise. Its perfect for those days thats just too cold and wet to be out walking around. When the rain subsided we jumped off and enjoyed some sights. You can jump on and off all day by buying a special pass.

We had a canal cruise on a beautiful sunny day in Amsterdam and it was lovely to see the city from the canal. I would recommend anyone to take a trip and some of the canal companies combine their trips with something else, for example the Brewery, which was just opposite the canal company we cruised with although we didn't...

We booked the evening cruise which started at 20:00 our guide was very informative about the modern history and had good humour. We had a glass of wine and a plate of cheese triangles with mustard, everyone had a seat, though I found myself going to the back deck to take photos with out window frame obstructions. Good overall, recommend...

We jumped on the 100 highlights tour almost immediately after arriving in Amsterdam to remind us of our way round the city. The driver was really helpful and the seats were comfy. The tour took just over an hour and went around most of the main sights on the canals. The commentary was informative and although it was a rainy...

Very easy to find when you come out of the Central Railway Station, walk down Damak (the main road) and all the boats are on your left. The tour takes about one hour, the boats are covered and commentrys are in several languages although one of the languages the pre-recording kept breaking up which was very annoying. The cost was...

We booked this cruise before arriving in Amsterdam and I wish I had waited as there are many canal tour operators so we could have maybe picked a better one for us. We found the quality of the commentary to be poor and difficult to listen to. The pre-recorded commentary runs through several languages so you have to concentrate on...

Took short one hour Amsterdam canal tour to familiarize with Amsterdam city centre. You can also do this with the "red"hop on hop off buses but the canal tour is a more personal way of achieving the same result. Embarkation was simple close to Amsterdam centraal railway station. The boat was covered - essential as it was only about 8...
