We were slightly disappointed with these botanical gardens, which cost 6 Euros each to enter. We had a nice drink and cake in their Orangery café, and then spent about an hour walking round. The Hortus was very pleasant to walk thru on a cold rainy day. We visited the market at Waterlooplein and walked the block or so to the Hortus. There are some very exotic plants in an interesting setting. The gardens were not much to see in late November, but the buildings and inside plants were great. more
