I have to say that the singel was less impressive than the other canals... it might have to do with the fact that part of it is with new buildings.... still it is relaxing and there are some nice buildings, another thing is that this canal brings you to the flower market (which in my opinion is not that special).... I am a returning customer. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the main train station, in the old town on the Singel canal. The century old building is well maintained and authentic. Yes, the rooms are small, but very clean and comfy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely a bargain. More
