Not your traditional museum, as it is constantly changing exhibitions, so I would assume reviews change depending on what's on display. The exhibits we saw here were a nice mix of the conventional and the avant-garde. These people understand the evolution of photography as an art, and have put on a number of interesting shows. The building itself is quirky--a big old town home with a lot of modern renovations. Well worth a look. More

FOAM is one of my favourite museums in the Netherlands. They always have nice collections. It's a very good way to spend 2 hours in Amsterdam. Be sure to check out the apple pie in the FOAM restaurant! More
