It's beer drinkers heaven. I wish I could pick up this bar and bring it back to the states. All dutch beers on tap and all of them are good. If you love beer just go there. More

We were surprised that this bar opens at 16:00 Mon - Sat (not open at all on Sunday according to their business card), but once open we realised the wait was worth it. Beers from the light to the dark, strong to weak (5% is weak for Holland), and very helpful staff. More

Within walking / staggering distance of our hotel and there was always a warm welcome for us here ! The Bar always stocks 30 Draft Dutch beers plus bottled beers , jenever, liquors and a small stock of wines, plus tasty snacks . A Beer tasting is good value : 250ml of 3 beers of your choice or your bartenders... More

Loads of beer to choose from and plenty of people to create a buzzing vibe. Practically next to our hotel so it was a must. More

Fantastic beers on tap, really helpful and knowledgeable staff, and very reasonable prices for quality beer. The only thing to note is that it doesn't open until 4pm, so get there early, set up a tab and grab seat at the bar! The sister bar (Temple Bar) is also very good, but that's another review! More

Well worth the walk, is off the beaten track in a quite lovely part of Amsterdam. Directions on google maps are spot on. Excellent staff who were very helpful and just around the corner from the current No 1 rated restaurant 'Brasserie Vlaming' making this either a great spot for a session or a quick aperitif (go for a session... We stopped by after dinner nearby to try the traditional Dutch jenever but the beer selection looked amazing. Tried both the "young" which was served more chilled and the "old" which in our case was 3 years old. More of a whiskey-like nose on the old and it was served warmer. There is cozy indoor seating but we opted to... More

Unusual little bar but what a find. Careful what you choose from the extensive draught and bottled craft beers, take a note of the % as many don't taste that strong but believe me they are. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Simply brilliant and worth seeking out More

..and there is no heineken in sight ! Simply they are a great showcase for the very best Dutch beer, Speak to the staff and tell them the type of beer (dark, brown, blond) and they will be pleased to help you. Ask for a taster and they will oblige. Be adventurous. The Netherlands have some great beer to offer:... More

There are a few good places for beer in Amsterdam, and I have tried most of them. I would have to say, beyond question, that 't Arendsnest is really the best of the best. The quality and choice of beer is top quality, ranging from local Dutch brewers (who have learned a lot from their Belgian cousins) to Belgian stars... More
