Absolute and total relaxation, my wife and I took another couple there and once passed the initial taking off all their clothes, they did not want to leave (8 hrs later). The sauna limits the amount of people so it is important to book, children don't go there. When you go you can hire towels bathrobes and pool shoes. The... more

I went to Sauna van Egmond in February, 2008. It was a Saturday afternoon. And boy, there were a lot of people there! On entering you find a big lounge and restaurant, and lot of people sitting there, everyone with their robes on! and then there is this door to the sauna area, and there everybody is completely nude! there... more

After reviewing comments about van egmond last month I was there. Body scrub was excellent. Place was very good, lots of beautifil women were there. Swimming pool was hot that I liked most. more

I spent an evening in the Sauna van Egmond early November 2007. Extremely friendly staff - quite a few different saunas - a big warm swimming pool with jacuzzi - a very good restaurant with a bar - big soft sofas to sink into after having finished the tender steak. I had read the reviews on Sauna van Egmond under the Sauna Deco reviews and they sounded like they were written by someone who worked at Sauna van Egmond, so I had my doubts. I had been to Sauna Deco, which I liked a lot, and Sauna Fenomeen, which was nice as well, but neither compared to Sauna van Egmond.... more

This is my second trip to Sauna van Egmond outside of Amsterdam and I am truely hooked! Oppulance is the order of the day, rich woods, natural stones and interesting architecture is what you see upon entering. But be careful, you MUST make reservations.
