A very old and beautiful town with a lot of character. It is probably one of the most interesting place to visit in the nederland, with its narrow streets and canals. Worth going and staying there.

When interested in history this is the place to visit. An old city center linked to William of Orange. The first king in Holland who was murdered by Balthasar Gerards. You can still see the place where he was shot. The hole the bullet left in the wall after leaving William's body is still there. Go take a boat tour...

I love old towns and Delft is old, well the center. It is a small center, but it has a lot of old buildings, Churches, houses, a city hall, an old city gate and plenty of canals. Also a lot of shops with Delft pottery!.

I like everything about it, in fact I live there! My favourite spot is Beestenmarkt, where you van have drinks. Prinsenhof is nice too. Just take enough time to wander along the canals and soak up the atmosphere and admire the many, many historical buildings!

That time...

This is a typical Dutch town full of charm - it has most of the attributes of Amsterdam, just not as congested with tourists. Lots of shopping opportunities, great sidewalk cafes, nice antique shops, and a large pedestrian area make this a wonderful place to spend the day and enjoy a taste of Holland.

We love Delft- the churches, shops, restaurants, canals, museums, just walking around. Try De Mohl [sp?], a medieval style restaurant; it's fun!

Clean, friendly, safe and fun. It's the home of Vermeer, which says a lot in retrospect. Take a pic of the tower from the adjacent canal, to see it lean. The church tower is worth a climb. Close to Amsterdam and The Hague, as well as Keukenhof.
