It is no Louvre or Rijksmuseum, but then I have never been able to the whole of these museums either.
And if this museum is not sufficient to fill your artistic desires, het "van Gijn" museum can provide a beautiful compliment in this very old and historic city.

The museum had been renovated recently. A new wing was added. Excellent museum for 19th and early 20th century art

Dordrecht might not be the town of your first choice but it is the oldest city of Holland and the museum is small and beautiful. If you like art there are many nice galleries to visit in Dordrecht. You should definitely visit the Dordrechts Museum when you have a chance. It is totally remodeled and has a great collection of art
