Viewed for afar or from right inside the complex, the cubes are a bright and bizarre spectacle. Nearby many other attractions, including a weekend market, they are definitely worth walking by. more

This is a great photo spot from the outside. The cube houses are just amazingly weird. It is mind boggling to think that so many people there live in them, all the more so when you go inside and see the model home. You'd think they would have cleaned it up a little more as well, it's a bit dingy,... more

The Kijk Kubus houses are a unique feature of central Rotterdam, even if not particularly "gezellig" (charming). Viewing the cube-shaped houses turned up onto one point makes one wonder what living inside would be like. Thanks to the publically available Kijk Kubus showhouse this is possible at an inflated price (relative to the actual experience). The showhouse is of one... more

The Kijk-Kubus is a museum-house which shows how people live in peculiar architecture like this, by means of custom built furniture and is open to the public 7 days a week. This museum-house is not subsidized or sponsored and is entirely dependable on the fairly charged admission fees which are announced 3 times (door downstairs/ staircase/ entrance-door).
