I visited museum Boijmans Van Beuningen almost accidentaly, as I didn't know what kind of art it includes...So I've been there and I loved it! I love impressionism and I found there some really exceptional pieces from the most famous painters such as Van Gohg, Pisaro, Cezanne, Renoir, Monet. It is definetely a must-see in Rotterdam. The museum is huge, and it covers many centuries in history. When you think it is over, just turn the corner and there is hundreds of rooms yet to be seen. Go early, so there is time to see everything. more

Boymans van Beuningen is situated in the so-called Museumparc, where the Kunsthal and the Architect institute (NaI) are nearby too. It's a fantastic museum with some typical Rembrandt paintings and other old Dutch masters as well as very neat temporary exhibtions.
