Close to the city centre, just across the Erasmus Bridge, you will find this interesting museum with a large collection of photographs. There are changing exhibitions on different themes like the one I have visited which focussed on Photo Books. The Dark Room gives you interesting back ground information on various subjects related to photography. Don't forget to pick up... More

If you have an interest in photography this is the place to go. I always enjoy the "dark room", it is interactive and educating without the videos being to long. The two different exhibitions I have seen have been interesting in different ways, showing both old and modern photography. And the bookstore is also a place you can spend a... More

Again, the exhibitions here will provoke thought and wonder. Cross over the Erasmus Bridge and visit this gem. They've recently expanded the bookshop so there is a huge stock of photo postcards, from their own huge archive & from the exhibitions you've seen - increasingly rare these days! More

All the chances you can get, with a new building in the new cultural district of town. And they missed it terribly. The "dark room" is OK, but you expect some thing like a permanent exhibition. You'll not find it. The worst of it: the dozen or so screens on the second floor that should bring you some of that,... More

We have visited the museum three times now, and the main exhibition has each time been worth the trip. More

This museum is located on the "other side" of the Erasmus Bridge -- but it's really worth checking out. It's a modern and classy museum with some great exhibits (at least when I visited). To be honest, I wasn't really that enthused about going in -- but after I entered I could easily have spent my entire day there. They... More

not the biggest of museums, but in a nice setting, and what I especially liked was the Darkroom, where you have to place a white paper in small 'baths' on which is projected a movie of historical facts/pictures in Dutch photography. Nice ! Liked it a lot! More
