Contemporary city, modern construction. If you are an architect pay a visit, it is worth. If you like modern art and nice street sculptures, it is worth as well. More

We had a day trip to Rotterdam and as time was limited did the city and harbour walk and found it very enjoyable. Some of the building designs were pretty funky and well worth looking at to see what can be done if your architect doesn't wear a grey suit and your local council are prepared to be adventurous. We walked the town and harbour area and loved it althought their were times were we wanted to try out a bicyle ride and wish we'de investigated that option more. More

Rotterdam is a wonderful city to visit. Due to the fact the city was almost flattened during the WW2, the city is modern and well laid out with many attractions within walking distance. The Museums are beautiful, well worth spending the time to visit, the shopping in the city is AMAZING, the harbours are lovely and there are many fantastic... More
