The board walk if fantastic and all the sculptures are wonderful. Had dinner at a great restaurant outdoors with little fire pits between the tables so warm and cozy. More

In summer time it's nice to have diner (expensive for what you get) at the beach and see the sunset. The promenade & shops are just bad skip it. Currently under construction (to end 2013 ?) More

the pier is a depressive structure, almost abandoned. It is nice only if you see it from far away or if you like bungee jumping on top of the water. It's way too crowded overthere, especially when the wheather is good/summer! Too much people with bad mannors/behavior. The only thing I like is the 'Vuurwerkfestival' at the end of summer. More

There are lots of restaurants, of which one even has the michelin star, but mostly they are just your average indian, italian, mexican or bistro restaurants... the sea is there which is always nice and then there is the pier. In it's glory days it was something but now it needs to be renovated, i understood there have been plans... More

The Pier is far from spectacular, but there is a casino, you can eat pancakes with a nice view, do bungy jumping (when it is summer) or just walk around. It needs urgent repairs and this project seems to be postponed year after year... The promenade is better, there are lot's and lot's of Cafe's and restaurants where you can... More

since the euro came its hardly affordable to go in the summer its really busy and in the winters the sunday in the summer the have something on every weekend and firework nights More
