The museum is spread out over 3 floors but it's quite compact. There was an audio guide provided with our ticket, but I personally thought that the information provided on it was too much and taking up a lot of time. So I just read the short discriptions and looked at the jewelry.
In general, I didn't like the museum...

The museum was interesting and well laid out, and not expensive. The jewels on display were lovely but it could have been a bit more interactive, for children it would be a bit boring.
The listening phones were a really good idea so you heard all the commentry in your own language.
I think there should have been some videos...

The Diamantmuseum was very educational and has a wonderful series of displays on the mining and trading of diamonds. However, if you looking for case after case of gemstones to ooh and ah over, this is not the place. Worth a visit if you're spending the day in Antwerp, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here.

When I bought the ticket nobody thought to mention that there was no way we could complete the tour. Had I known I would have saved my money. From what I saw the museum was...

I have been to this museum in two occasions and while I enjoyed the temporary exhibits the permanent does not really "dazzle". It is too somber. I would have expected that Antwerp being a center of Diamond business that the museum would be more impressive. Perhaps is the way it is set up or perhaps the whole subject on diamonds...

This museum is situated conveniently by the Centraal Station, next to the Zoo, and near the Diamond District. Entrance was 6 euros, which included an audioguide.
The exhibits are situation across 3 floors, and contain a couple of rooms with displays of pieces of diamond jewellery, and many replica pieces of famous items of jewellery too. The informative part of...
