Especially Dageraadplaats. I love that square. Always so lively and so friendly. If it weren't for the temperatures you could think you were somewhere in the South of France or Spain. The rest of the neighborhood is well worth a stroll for the nice turn of the century architecture.

Especially the dageraadplaats, has been upgraded from a grey dark place to a lively one, with lots of foreigners and artists around.
During the day, out of school hours children go there to play in a friendly environment.
Its not really made to visit, rather to live it.

Very nice part of Antwerp with a great choice of good restaurants. Especially the Dageraadplaats during the summer is very nice.

I live here and there are some very nice old houses here, like in the Cogels Oseylei. A lot of art nouveau (which I like!). Also the Draakplaats and the Dageraadplaats have a lot of cafés. Zurenborg is close to Antwerpen-Berchem station, so you can walk from there.

This area is known for its relatively recent redevelopment into a middle class hub for young families. It sports some fun pubs and bistros, as well as a famous Moroccan restaurant. Worthwhile to check out!

The names Zurenborg and Cogels-Osy (the name of a developer ...) are often used interchangeably, by tourists, for two overlapping neighborhoods in Antwerp. You should also look at the TripAdvisor reviews for Antwerp attraction Cogels-Osy: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g188636-d523330-Reviews-Cogels_Osy_lei-Antwerp_Antwerpen.html .
