If you are in Brussels, don't waste your time on seeing this tiny staue of a peeing boy. See him on a postcard and spend your time in Brussels having fun instead. They cover up the statue only to reveal it at certain times, with old men playing music and terrible dressed up characters wooing the crowd. Very annoying, and... more
We were in Brussels and followed all of the guidebooks' and reviewers' suggestions and made our way to visit the Manneken Pis....and were sorely dissappointed. It is neither grand nor interesting, in my opinion, and the fact that it is a "must see" in Brussels says more about the shortcomings of the city than the grandeur of the statue. more
What can I say it is a statue of a little man going wee. There are throngs of people waiting to take a picture with the little man. If aliens landed from Mars next to this statute I think they would also take a picture with it . Very Twin Peaksish.... I am so sorry Bourdain........ Believe it or not... more
All I can say about Manneken Pis is that it us a must see if you find yourself in Brussles. This little fellow seemed to have more of an audience than any other attraction in Brussles. True, he is not much to look at, but his audience sure is! This statue really is to Kitsch to miss out on. And,... more

Anyone going to Brussels should take the time to pay homage to the famous Manneken Pis, this tiny statue of a boy urinating may not have the stature of the Michelangelo’s David, the Brandenburg Gate or the Eifel Tower but it’s up there on the list of Euro must do's for many people. It's great fun to join the throngs... more
We already knew this wasn't going to be some giant statue, so we weren't disappointed that it was so small. It reminded me of the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen in that regard. Lots of tourists standing around taking pictures of this little thing. The only disappointment I had was that he wasn't wearing one of the many outfits he has.... more
I went here with my son, it´s not the big thing, it´s just good, I think it will be more bigger, or something better more
Whilst agreeing with everyone else that this statue is much smaller than you would expect of such a famous tourist sight, it's only a short walk from the Grand Place through cheerful streets full of nice shops. It is well worth seeing hundreds of his donated "costumes" on display on the top floor of the Hotel Ville Museum in the... more
