My husband and I were in Brussels for a day and wanted to visit Brugge really because we had heard from people before that there wasn't much to see in Brussels. However, we were pleasantly surpised once we did this walking tour.
We started from outside the Grand Place at 2:30pm (there's a yellow board outside the Visitor centre you...

This walking tour - in English - lasted for 3.5 hours and took us all over Brussels. The knowledge of our guide, whose name escapes me, seemed unparalleled. We learned thorough backstories on all sorts of buildinds - the type of information you just don't get out of a guidebook or by walking around by yourself. We went from the...

We wanted to do a walking tour to get a feel for the city. Well, Fernando exceeded all expectations. His knowledge, sense of humour and energy was wonderful. We found out lots about the history, architecture and general information about Brussels, including tips for restaurants and bars. Fernando's tour was well-paced, stopping at places we would never have found ourselves....

Brussels is truly a nice city to visit. Wonderful architectural buildings, spectacular sightseeing. We found the multicultural community a good sign of a globalized city. People are very friendly, the transport system is perfect. We visited the EU offices and got access to lots of information. Great food, variety but for wines...my friends know better, I did not taste! Great...

I was in Frankfurt on business and took a train to Brussels for the day. I highly recommend doing this if you have a day to spend and are within a 2 hour or so train ride away. The city is clean, rich with history and architecture. Of cource you must have mussels in Brussels and don't miss their fine...

Unfortunately, the transportation workers were on strike. That forced us to walk but it was raining. Its a nice city but hard to rate because of the rain and strikes. We ended up going to the zoo in antwerp which was very nice.

we waited around all day, excited to take this walking tour. What the website, the info center, and trip adviser failed to mention was that the tour doesn't run during the winter (as we later found out inside the office).
