Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although Boulevard De Waterloo is most famous as a wide tree lined street with high end retail outlets along it's not all it's famous for as there's great architecture ,a pretty park and some fantastic pubs, bars and restaurants .
My twin brother Stephen and I were exploring around this area of Brussels on a really hot afternoon ,we dropped anchor at Le Bistro were we enjoyed some iced cold beers ,it was just so good watching the world rush by sipping a delicious pint of Maes beer ,from our vantage point we had great views of Porte De Hal ,the beautiful medieval gate ,walking down this street we hit some other local bars were we enjoyed a meal and beers plus wine ,it's most definitely a street to check out if you're planning on visiting Brussels.

A nice place to walk, shop, eat with many stores of all kinds and of course small vehicles with waffles for just 2 euro.

Boulevard de Waterloo is a nice tree-lined street. It's one of a few such streets. It's relatively wide and green with nice trees and not too much traffic, most of the time, at least that we noticed! There are some shops but few and far between.

A nice and wide boulevard that you walk through and enjoy all the brand-name shops. Mostly window shopping.

A beautiful, tree lined street with lots of parking and not a lot of traffic. Tons of high end shopping if you're into it.

Most luxury brands in Brussels congregate on this street, opposite of Avenue de la Toison d'or and NOT to be confused with Chaussée de Waterloo (be very clear about that when you get there by car!). All the expensive brands are there, along with one or two restaurants. The Hotel is there as well, as is the Jardin d'Egmont, a small but windy park just by The Hotel. When you're done shopping you can either comtinue to the left to posh Avenue Louuse or take the elevator down to distinctly popular/hipster Les Marolles. You may also take the Jardin d'Egmont to get to the Sablon and its antique shops, cafés, restaurants and chocolate shops. Shopaholics mustn't miss Boulevard de Waterloo!

A shopaholics dream.... All the designer stores in one lane. If you can't resist don't go,,, because you will splurge. Most designers are found here from Dior, Chanel, Hermes, Bulgari, Tiffany and so much more.

A very expensive shopping boulevard, we stayed opposite on Boulevard de la Toison d'Or which allowed us to walk/enjoy this daily. Very classy shops but very busy, the tree lined streets provide shade for high value purchases.

Was a little disappointed as they are revamping the museum. Lots of history and it was mainly on Napoleon. It was misting and chilly when we were there.
