Definitely try some belgian fries while you are out here, but this is not the place to get them. The museum is just a waste of time, only went because it was included with bruges city card. Fries they sold were decent; but nothing special or worth the time/money More

We were pleasantly surprised by this museum, having no previous knowledge of the origins of the humble potato. Beware, though, the advertisements mention that visitors will taste the fries at the end, but do not mention that you have to buy them! There is a 40 cent discount coupon given at the entrance. Best fries we ate all weekend. More
