My wife and I took the “Triple Treat” tour in mid-October, 2009. It was a fun and informative day touring the countryside around Brugge. The highlights were the visit to Damme, the lunch with waffles and the beer tasting in the tavern at the end of the tour. We where picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel, De... more

A day after Remembrance Day, or Armistice Day as it is called here, I took an opportunity to see the World War I battlefields of Flanders with Quasimodo Tours, a husband and wife team who for fifteen years have been offering the chance to see these infamous sites that are burned into the national consciousness - Ypres, Passchendaele, Tyne Cot,... more

We went on the Flanders Field tour on Reembrance Sunday 2009 and it was a very moving experience indeed, but also extremely informative and enjoyable. Even though its a full day, the tour is constructed so that you get the adequate amount of time at each destination. A particular favourite is the Ireland Peace Park, which is relatively new and... more

This one day tour of World War One battlefields gave a real insight into the horrors of the war and the suffering which resulted. The day was packed with visits and stops and the guide made each stop meaningful and interesting. Without a guided tour you would struggle to take any history from the landscape as it is today .... more

This, easily, is the best Tour I have ever been on. Sharon, the tour guide, was brilliant. Her knowledge, her stories and her passion really made the day more than what I was expecting. If you want to be amazed, astounded and moved do this Tour. more

Although we were initially put off by the price we decided to go ahead on the tour and are so glad that we did. We could never have done it under our own steam. Phillipe was an excellent guide and showed no sign that he had done this so many times before! He obviously has a deep interest in this... more

This is a great tour. Whether you have any interest in World War I or not, you will like this tour. It is interactive where you get to see and learn about the Flander's area during World War I. Phillipe's knowledge of the area and the battle are quite appearant and he clearly explains the objectives, tactics, results and the... more

My wife & I did the Triple Treat Day Tour while staying in Bruges and loved it. The Flanders Fields trip may have been more educational, but this sounded fun and it was treats we were after; and we got just that! Philip was our guide and made it a blast. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Philip never rushed... more

We thoroughly enjoyed your Flanders Field Tour on Sunday 20th September. We both found it very moving and very informative and were extremely impressed with both your knowledge and symathetic way in which you lead the tour. We hope to return to Belgium in the not too distant future and will definitely try your other Tour at that time. We... more

The trip to the battefield of Flanders is extremely moving and highlights the sacrifices made by millions of men in the First World War, however it is an experience worth undertaking. We met a group of British Soldiers who were as part of their training visiting the battlefields. The cemeteries are beautifully maitained, Hill 60 provides a great insight into... more
