At the moment you can go see the temporary exhibition Charles the Bold. Entrance tickets normally cost € 9 but if you are under 25 it's only € 1. I think it's also a good museum to see if you have young children since I saw quite some children doing a museum game.The exhibtion is about Charles the Bold and... more

The paintings in this museum are often beautiful, sometimes grotesque but always interesting. A handset with fascinating information about many of the paintings is included in the price. We found this to be the best of the sites to visit in Bruges. One word of warning for older travellers like us - take your passports to show your age if... more

This was my second visit to the Groeninge and it was even more enjoyable than the first. Art is, of course, possibly more subjective than music but for anyone with the slightest interest in the development of oil painting the Van Eyck alone is worth the visit.
