i will start with the bad -
not consistent with language offerings...some things have translations in many languages some things just Dutch. Most things NOT in English (which is fine but...)
Items on display are more about dutch history and less about the house and its time period

would like more access to other parts...

Very interesting house with very grand rooms, ceilings and other features.
We used the Brugge City Card to get in as many places in 48hours and saved over 50% on entry fees.

We thought this would show what the house was like when it was lived in - a nobleman's house. Instead there were a lot of boring displays with a lot of reading to understand what they were. Have to agree with other comments - not worth it, stay outside, much nicer and more interesting!

I was expecting more of a fine medieval mansion and was disappointed to find a bare minimum of references and artifacts reflecting it's use as a home. The connecting chapel into the Church of Our Lady was not lighted enough to see and did not have any photos of what it looks like form the inside of the church.

The building is really lovely, and the main collection has some interesting embroideries and sculptures.

I did not find the collection to be worth a visit. It's just quite basic, any National Trust for Scotland or National Trust property would have by far bigger and valuable collection...
